I love this stuff. This is one of the only lotions salyclic acid that is accessible and not ridiculous frangrances and other irritants that, ironically, impaired skin off, instead of helping.
Then without problems and is not drying. Has a peculiar smell, but that dissipates quickly. Moreover, the first two days I used it, my skin started and got a little 'red for a couple of minutes, but not burn or irritate too much. I really liked how he felt, was cool, so I stayed with her.
I use it in combination with benzoyl peroxide, and together the two have completely transformed my acne-prone skin. My routine is as follows, and I do it twice a day, morning and afternoon:
- Wash face with Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser (wait 5 minutes)
- Apply a thin layer of Neutrogena Rapid Clear Lotion (wait 5)
- Apply a thin layer of 2. Benzoyl peroxide 5% (expected 10-15)
- Implement the version (create) or combination skin moisturizer Neutrogena Sunscreen
This routine, which I found online and in the book by Paula Begoun, The Beauty Bible "(also available on Amazon) leaves the skin soft, shiny and completely free of acne. Presumably, salicylic acid acts as a reinforcement for the benzoyl peroxide, regardless, in order to work surprisingly well. We Americans tend to think that bigger is better, so you need super-strength benzoyl peroxide 10%. But apparently, some studies show that, indeed, irritates the skin. The softer version (2. 5%), works equally well against bacteria that cause acne, without irritating the skin and makes it vulnerable to outbreaks. I love my skin with this routine and products. I hope the work as they have done for me.
That said, do not think that I work for Neutrogena. . . Watch the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Gel, which is horrible. One of the main ingredients and Witch Hazel, that burns and irritates the skin. Be careful not to confuse the two when you order or purchase.

For the past few years I have been using Aveeno Clear Complexion Correcting Treatment to prevent defects and, of course, get to hormonal fluctuations. Was 0. 5% salicylic acid and it worked well, without over-drying my "maturity" of the skin. When it broke, I bought all the remaining pipes I found. . . and when finally finished, I toured the shops and on the Internet for a replacement. I tried two or three products expensive. Not only were drying my skin was "bounce" and found what he characterized as persistent, moderate acne. So there I was with a red, Flakey, face Zitty when I decided to try the cream Neutrogena Rapid Clear. I thought that the salicylic acid 2% is excessive, but I'm happy to report that the lotion is soft and not dry at all. I use a thin layer on my face morning and evening. I used it for a couple of months, and during the first two weeks of my skin, actually, "immediately clear." I'm not really even get much in terms of my usual monthly breakdowns. In fact, I think it works better than the Aveeno. Ah, relief. Glad to have bought three dependents.

Really a good product. My face can not take almost everything, as only out, but this is just great. Absolutely no discomfort or dryness, without any redness (unheard of in the skin). In fact, the calm any redness. It becomes clear skin, no doubt, just be consistent in its application.
Really great product.
